Donate to Magasin Habitat pour l'humanité

Donations are gratefully accepted from individuals and businesses in our community. Funds raised through the sale of your donated items offsets Habitat for Humanity Québec’s administration costs, ensuring every donated dollar is used to build homes.

Whether you’re making a donation or buying something for your house, you are contributing to our cause. Our goal is to build affordable housing for families in our community who need our help.

How can you donate to Magasin Habitat pour l'humanité?

If you plan on making a donation to the Magasin Habitat pour l’humanité there are a few points to keep in mind:

All donations must be inspected. When you call us to ask about dropping off a donation, the store staff will ask you questions and to email us photos of your items for donation to determine whether we can accept the donation at our store.

We cannot accept every donation. We do have guidelines of what we items can and cannot accept, which can vary depending on the season or what merchandise we have in stock. This means that we may not be able to take your donation at this time.

You must notify us before dropping off any items. Please call ahead or email us to let us know what items you would like to donate. After we have inspected it and determined that we can gladly accept your donation, we will schedule the time and date for the drop-off at the store. Please refrain from leaving unapproved items at our donation centers – That is illegal. Dropping off donations outside of store hours is prohibited.
